Hamburg, 4 June 2018 – As of now, radio.de, Germany’s largest radio platform, is an official StreamOn partner of Deutsche Telekom. This means that more than 30,000 German and international radio stations and podcasts are now available to StreamOn users in one app, without the radio streaming counting towards their data allowance.
The service’s station selection includes not only the streams of the well-known German FM stations, but also international music and news stations as well as numerous independent web radios that focus on a wide variety of music genres. With this variety of programs in just one app, radio.de offers access to the whole world of radio. From the popular morning show of the local FM station to informative talk programs and podcasts to DJ sets from the hottest clubs in the world, the entire spectrum of the radio landscape becomes quickly and easily accessible in one app.
The StreamOn option can be used with the latest app versions for iOS (version 4.4.1 and higher) and Android (version 4.7.3 and higher). The apps are available free of charge in the respective app stores. The premium version radio.de PRIME can also be used by StreamOn customers in the latest version for iOS (version 4.4.1 and higher) and Android (version 4.7.3 and higher).
In addition, the radio.de service is also available directly via SONOS speakers and as an Amazon Alexa skill. The service can also be accessed on TV via Apple TV, Android TV and Amazon Fire TV. For the 2018 Football World Cup, radio.de introduced a new device category with the exclusive FOOTBALLPEN, which allows users to discreetly follow radio broadcasts via bone conduction.
